Nedda Ahmed
Librarian for the College of the Arts College of the Arts, Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, School of Music- Biography
As the Librarian for the College of the Arts, Nedda has the unique pleasure of working with creatives–filmmakers, designers, artists, musicians, actors, etc.—and with scholars who study, analyze, and write about the arts. It’s a pretty amazing job! She loves to dig into tough research questions and she’s always eager to help students in the creative fields learn how to use research to enhance their own practice.
She’s an active member of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies and currently chair the society’s Libraries & Archives Scholarly Interest Group. She is also the editor for the Reviews section of Media Industries Journal, an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study of the media industries.
