Jennifer Siegler
Lecturer Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design- Biography
Dr. Siegler is a specialist in Latin-American art history, but her interests span the Americas and Africa, ancient and contemporary periods, and multiple media, including ceramics, sculptures, textiles, prints, and paintings. Her research explores themes of colonial art, hybridity, authenticity, and visual representations of heritage. At Georgia State, she teaches AH 1750, AH 1850, and upper-level courses in her areas of expertise. Dr. Siegler has a doctorate from Emory University.
