Golnoush Behmanesh

Golnoush Behmanesh is a designer/artist, with a background in various creative mediums, including design, illustration, video, and motion graphics. She completed her MA at Alzahra University of Tehran in 2012 and is currently pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design at Georgia State University.
With nearly a decade of experience, Golnoush's passion lies in exploring the intersection of Graphic Design and Fine Art, with a particular focus on social and political commentary. Her artistic endeavors center around typography, motion graphics, and illustration, and delves into thought-provoking themes such as feminism, consumerism, and the impact of design education on society. She has been honored of presenting at the National AIGA Design Conference in 2023 in New York, showcasing her commitment to furthering the field of graphic design and fine art through her works and insights.
In addition to practical knowledge of visual design, she has over five years of teaching experience as an adjunct and visiting lecturer, where she shares her theoretical knowledge and expertise with her students, motivating them to explore research and ignite creativity. She firmly believes in the power of research and creativity to drive positive change, inspiring her goal to expand the horizons of visual communication, crafting narratives that resonate with audiences and contribute to positive change.
