Cole Hankins
Production Coordinator School of Music- Biography
Cole Hankins joined the School of Music as Production Coordinator in Fall 2019, following 4 years as a production assistant in the same department. Combining a passion for audio and video with performing experience in music and theatre, he coordinates scheduling and operations for the Florence Kopleff Recital Hall. Other responsibilities include assisting with School of Music facilities and maintaining a digital archive of audio and video recordings.
Cole holds a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance from Georgia State University. His primary teachers have been Luther Enloe and Matthew Cochran. Cole is a native of Albany, Georgia. In addition to his work at Georgia State, he currently holds the position of Multimedia Associate at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Newnan. Beyond his work, Cole is an avid record collector, with approximately 4000 items in his collection. His other interests lie in cooking, art, traditional music, and poetry. Cole lives in Atlanta with his wife, soprano Maria Margiolakou, and cat, Small.
