During Super Bowl LIII weekend, the Georgia State photography program mounted a pop-up exhibition, Split Vision comprised of faculty, M.F.A. students and alumni. A first or its kind, the show mixed and merged the representational and the abstract, presenting an intersection of contrasting styles and approaches meant to reflect the American experience in our current political climate. The exhibition, which took place a block away from the Mercedes Benz Stadium, was made possible with the support of Dashboard. Participating artists included Jeremy Bolen, Shelia Pree Bright, Kate Cunningham, Jack Wade Deese, Coorain Coo-baby Devin, Nancy Floyd, Jill Frank, Amin Ghasemi, Candice Greathouse, Joshua Dudley Greer, Tonia Indigo Hughes, Mohammad Jahangir, David King, Ben Bowden Lee, Anya Liftig (Anya Liftig/Love and Trouble), Andrew Lyman, Tyler Mann, Madeline Pieschel, John Prince, Kathleen Sharp, Constance Thalken, Parker Thornton, Chris Verene and Christina Price Washington.
