The Georgia State University School of Music and the Panther Band hosted the inaugural Georgia State Marching Band Championship (GSMBC) on Oct. 20, 2018. Nearly 3,000 students from 23 high schools across the Southeast competed before a audience of more than 6,000 spectators.
