The College of the Arts offers students the option of joining the Dual Degree program. Eligibility and requirements for students interested in the dual degree program in Film and Media (Production Track or Moving Image Studies Track) can be found on the application here.

Students seeking to deviate from the academic requirements in their program of study must complete and submit the College of the Arts Petition form.

Students seeking to appeal a final grade should review the Grade Appeal Process here. If you have completed steps one and two of the appeal process and are dissatisfied with the outcome, you may submit an appeal to the College of the Arts using the College of the Arts Petition form.

Students within the College of the Arts who wish to change their college must submit a Change of College form. This particular form is for Undergraduate students with 90 credits or higher. Students with less than 90 credits must change their college through the University Advisement Center.

Students who want to request a review and evaluation for art, film, and theatre courses taken at a different institution, that are believed to be equivalent to courses currently offered in the School of Art & Design or the School of Film, Media, & Theatre, should submit the COTA Transfer Credit/Course Substitution Review form.

This form should also be used by students looking to request an alternative course be used to complete major and/or minor requirements.

Students looking to request a review of music courses taken at a different institution should submit the SOM Undergraduate Transfer Credit Request form. Course substitution requests for the School of Music should be submitted through the SOM Course Substitution Request form.
