Georgia State University School of Music is the Professional Development Administrator for the annual Georgia Music Educator’s Association In-Service Conference held in Athens, GA. A Certificate of Attendance is granted to professionals and educators who wish to receive Professional Development Certification based on registration and attendance of conference events. Individuals may choose the conference sessions, concerts, or division meetings that are best suited to their interests and content area. To receive a Certificate of Attendance for the GMEA In-Service Conference, each educator must either:
Pre-Register online by Friday, January 11, 2019.
The pre-registration fee is $25 for registrations and payments received by Friday, January 11, 2019. Both the registration form and payment must be received by the deadline to guarantee the $25 early registration fee.
Sign-in at the Professional Development desk during the GMEA In-Service Conference to confirm your attendance. The Professional Development desk will be open from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 24 and Friday, January 25.
Register on-site at the Professional Development desk during the GMEA In-Service Conference between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 24 or Friday, January 25. Please note that the Professional Development desk is separate from the GMEA registration desk.
The on-site registration fee is $30, payable by cash, check, or credit card.
To replace a lost Professional Development Certificate or Professional Learning Unit Verification from previous years, please click the button below. Professional Development records are kept on file for five years from the date of the workshop or conference. There is a non-refundable processing fee for replacement documentation of $10.00 per certification requested.
