Georgia State's Office of Educational Outreach at the College of the Arts hosted the inaugural GospelFest featuring Callie Day and the Combined Festival Chorus of nearly 200 voices celebrating Black History Month and gospel music. Conducted by guest Bishop Chantel Wright, the culminating concert featured performances by the University of Georgia African American Choral Ensemble, Otis Byrd and Adoration, Antioch Baptist Church North and Westlake High School Gospel Choir.
