The Office of Educational Outreach conducted its annual Double Reed Day by engaging over 70 young students from metro Atlanta in master classes, double reed ensembles, lectures, recitals, and more. The participants spent the day learning techniques and a deeper level of musicianship for double reed instruments. Guest artists Dr. Margaret Fay of Penn State University and Dr. Laura Medisky of the Rockford (WI) Symphony Orchestra led the program along with School of Music faculty artists Dr. Laura Saville Dahl and John Grove.
