With one more semester left toward a B.F.A. degree, artist Lucy Luckovich has caught the eyes of galleries and collectors alike for her bold, eye-catching compositions that often include stripes, cherries and pearls. Hear from Lucy as she talks about her interest in feminism, the recent attention she's received, the power of Instagram, and the value of interning in a gallery.
Recently, Lucy Luckovich debuted her first solo exhibition, “Pop My Cherry!” at Cat Eye Creative, and exhibited at The Swan Coach House “Little Things” show and the Tchotchke Gallery “High Maintenance” group show in Brooklyn (NY). She was featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution and ArtsATL. This summer, Lucy is slated to be in another group show in New York’s Lower East Side.
