Our College of the Arts graphic design students recently brought their "A Game" to the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA ATL) 11th annual Student Pin-up Show. The popular networking event showcased more than 100 student designs pinned up onto walls and vying for the attention of industry insiders, faculty, family and friends to view.
Hear from Jade Parazo, a fourth-year graphic design student at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, submitted her eye-catching design entry, AMARE (Ah-mah-re) Premium Tin Fish," which took home the "Best in Show" award. Jade talks about her award-winning design concept, her surprised reaction to the announcement, and her plans after graduating from the program this spring.
In addition, to Jade's win, her class cohorts also won category awards, Roberto Vergara for "Best in UI/UX" and Derek Morgan for "Best in Advertising."
